Picture of me is supposed to be here!

Hello!

My name is Kimber. I live with my boyfriend, John, and our three cats. I also work full time as a benefit programmer at ODS Health Plans. I am responsible for reviewing contracts and entering the benefits into records so that claims can be processed, ideally, with minimal, manual intervention.

This summer, I am attending Portland Community College part time. I am taking two classes, one of which applies to my degree and the other is a prerequisite for Visual Basic:

And it goes on.....

Back to more personal things, I don't know why I like this song, probably because my aunts used to sing it, rather ironic considering. As for this actor, he is one of my favorites.

One of my favorite cities is Monterey, California. I was stationed there in 1990 and walked all over the place--on personal time. I lived on the top floor of the barracks and every morning you could hear the seals, which were sunning themselves on the docks and driving boat owners crazy, barking. All of the armed forces were stationed at the Defense Language Institute, for all that it is run by the US Army. Many a time we were hard-pressed to know if it was the seals or the Marines making the noise. (This is an ongoing, "friendly?" banter between the services--we all had our pet names for each other.)
